Thank you. I'm happy to be here. Thank you. Fun and joy. Bring it on. All right, Monique, go and take part.

MONEEKA:
So Catherine, Catherine, before the titles, the movies, the investing, who were you before all of this? What did the young you think success, money, and happiness would look ?

CATHERINE:
Well, I should have some funny response before this I was in rehab, but I'm just kidding. Honestly, before I was actually making this movie, I had previously made other movies that I thought were relevant to creating cultural change. I believe film and television can help change culture through storytelling. Many years ago, I did a film called I Can’t Marry You. And it was about same-sex marriage and how important it was that people from the LGBTQ community had the more than one thousand rights and benefits and protections that come with marriage. So that was a film I did that was on PBS. Fast-forward, I began producing events for women to empower them about, creating businesses and funding and investing and it was called the Live Love Thrive Conference. And when I was putting that on, I decided after meeting some women telling me that, women weren't getting the funding they deserved, we then added a day called, it was called She Tank at the time, a competition between women competing for funding from women. Because I found that women were not commonly investing. They didn't invest in other women. And I thought, well, let's start to change that by showing that happening.
